THE Societies Act 1966 (Article 832) was approved by the Parliament and should be referred to it if there are needs to amend it.

Umno President and Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said in Shah Alam last night, they who are not satisfied with the RoS decision on Umno General Assembly decision should bring it back to the Parliament.

The RoS decision to allow no contest for the posts of president and its deputy during the current Umno polls has received so many oppositions for various parties.
